Hello! I’m May Caudillo, the face behind Delfino Studio Photography. My name is pronounced “my”. I am a commercial photographer based in North Carolina, specializing in food, portraits, and travel. Documenting the beauty and whimsy of every day moments is the driving force behind my photography. I am a documentarian at heart, snapping photographs of my life from morning until night.

I love working with entrepreneurs, small businesses, restaurants, bars, and modern minded individuals who hold an appreciation for the past. I specialize in bringing a creative, sometimes nostalgic approach to your photography dreams. My photographs radiate simplicity, vibrant colors or beautiful neutrals, big emotions, and fun.

When I’m not taking photographs you can find me doing hot yoga or weight lifting, playing with my golden retriever, thrifting, having big dinners with my boyfriend, reading, learning how to garden, or spending time with my closest friends and family. I’m a big home body, but I love to go out and explore when the night is calling. I have a calm demeanor, but I’m playful and carefree once I get to know you.

The name ‘Delfino’ comes from my family —it’s my grandpa’s first name which was passed down to my dad as his middle name. It’s an honor to name my brand after them. My family is originally from Mexico City, and I never forget where I came from.
